This movie will be introduced by Elaine Titus and Susan Rosenstein, who will also be on-hand after the movie to answer questions. Elaine is a speaker, food policy advocate and educator inspiring change in our nation’s food and water supply. Elaine is a founding board member of ConnFACT and one of the leaders of the GMO Free CT campaign that successfully educated consumers and lobbied the Connecticut legislature to enact the first-in-the-nation GMO labeling bill in 2013, along with Susan Rosenstein. Susan is a Connecticut educator and food policy advocate. Susan’s current focus is on education and outreach related to GMO issues for ConnFACT in Hartford County.
GMO OMG director and concerned father, Jeremy Seifert is in search of answers. How do GMOs affect our children, the health of our planet, and our freedom of choice? And perhaps the ultimate question, which Seifert tests himself: is it even possible to reject the food system currently in place, or have we lost something we can’t gain back? These and other questions take Seifert on a journey from his family’s table to Haiti, Paris, Norway, and the lobby of agra-giant Monsanto, from which he is unceremoniously ejected. Along the way we gain insight into a question that is of growing concern to citizens the world over: what's on your plate? - See this film at Sustainable Health & Wellness on January 30th at 6:30p.

We are working to update it such that it authorizes NDs to prescribe a number of prescription medications, therapeutic devices, and durable medical equipment. The law update is important for the following reasons:
- NDs can provide many aspects of primary care
- In many cases, patients would not have to go back to their MD and ask for a drug prescription recommended by an ND, or for help in being weaned off a prescribed medication
- Patients save time, energy, and money = Fewer doctor visits
- Patients get faster and more efficient treatment
- Patients avoid duplication of services
- Patients receive improve healthcare access
